Have a nice day! Yes after 4 years of absence we're heading back to Tentsmuir Forest. The good news is that the legendary grumpy parking attendant has been replaced by a much friendlier non-human automated barrier. The bad news is you will still have to feed it £1 to get in. Please have the correct change available. Pancake flat to ease the pain in those weary legs. A 5 mile route through the woods on good quality forestry roads and trails. Why not bring the whole family for a day out in this open, mature pine forest next to a vast expanse of sandy beaches and the Tentsmuir Point National Nature Reserve. There is a kiddies play area, picnic area and toilets located at the main car park. For information on Tentsmuir Forest click here
Note: The minor road leading into Tentsmuir Forest is narrow and can be busy at times. Please drive carefully and allow sufficient time to reach your destination.
