The Fife AC 50 Kilometre road race takes place
annually on the second Sunday in May.
The race route is flat and mainly traffic free utilising pavements and
cycle tracks whenever possible. There is a height difference of three
metres between the highest and lowest points on the course.
The Institute track is the hub of the race with drinks and feeding points
providing water, isotonic drinks, mars bars, bananas and jelly babies. The
lap recorders are also situated at the track.
The race has been the Scottish Athletics Federation Championships since
it's inception but welcomes "ultra newbies" as well as seasoned
competitors.
Any
enquiries about the race should be directed to the race organiser Jim
Taylor. See above for contact details.

holder Terry Mitchell (centre) of Fife AC
